Easy One Pot Mexican Rice Casserole
ingredients :
Meat
1 lb Ground beef
Produce
1 15 Ounce Can Corn
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 Onion, Small
Canned Goods
1 1/2 cups Beef broth
Condiments
1/2 cup Salsa
8 oz Tomato sauce
Pasta & Grains
1 cup White rice, Long Grain
Baking & Spices
1 Salt & pepper
2 tbsp taco seasoning
Dairy
1 cup Cheese
Instructions :
Cook the ground beef and onion collectively with salt and pepper to taste in a large skillet over medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink. Empty grease if necessary.
Restore the pan to the stove and spray the beef with the garlic powder and taco seasoning.
add in the rice, broth, corn, tomato sauce, and salsa.
Take the mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until rice is soft.
Top with cheese and return the lid to the pan for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
