To make Mozzarella Stick Onion Rings you'll need This Ingredients:
- for 9 onion rings
- 2 large white onions
- 3 slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups flour(250 g)
- 5 eggs
- 2 cups breadcrumb(230 g)
- oil, for frying
- marinara sauce
How to make it :
- Onions should be peeled and cut into 1 centimeter (12 inch) rings. Distinguish the rings.
- Cut the mozzarella into four equal strips.
- In the middle of a larger onion ring, place a smaller one.
- Add the mozzarella strips to the space between the rings. Use two layers of cheese for increased cheeseiness. Then, freeze the remaining onion rings for an additional hour.
- Separately place the breadcrumbs, eggs, and flour in three bowls.
- Each prepared ring should first be floured. Next, dip into the egg, then into the breadcrumbs, back into the egg, and then into the breadcrumbs one last time. In the freezer, repeat with the remaining onion rings.
- A large pot should be filled with oil and heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Don't fry the rings for too long or the cheese may completely ooze out. Just fry them until they are golden brown.
- After being dried off with paper towels, serve with marinara!
