American apple pancakes
American pancakes are a special breakfast, perfect for Sunday morning or holidays, when the whole family can have breakfast together and quietly, taking our time to talk and share something delicious. Ingredients:
- 2 apples
- 200 g of flour
- 2 eggs
- 140 g of sugar
- 1 glass of milk
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- Oil or butter
Preparation:
Crack the eggs, separating the whites from the yolks. In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour, vanilla-flavored sugar, cinnamon, egg yolks, milk, and a pinch of salt. Beat it all very well. Uncover the apples and, removing the core, grate them. Mix with the dough. Heat a little oil or butter in a small skillet over medium-high heat. Pour moiety a scoop of the dough into the pan so that it is rounded and fluffy. Turn it over at 2 or 3 minutes and let it do one more minute on the other side. Repeat the process with each pancake.
