simple and easy, scrumptious, and exploding with flavor this Strawberry Pie is an old-fashioned recipe that has minimal elements, great strawberry flavor and is definitely addictive.
So we have been preparing with all things strawberry recently. Now I absolutely love all the strawberry desserts, and like adore them. This Strawberry Pie is one of my best ever.
My family is large pie lovers and when it gets to strawberry pie they gobble it finished up.
We prefer to pick strawberries in the summer season and refrigerate them for later use in things such as milkshakes, crisps/cobblers, and smoothies.
INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED:
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 lb strawberries sliced
- 1 9 ” frozen pie crust baked
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 3 oz pkg strawberry jello
Instructions :
Bake pie crust according to package Instructions, separate from oven, and let cool.
Meantime in a large saucepan add water and sugar and heat over medium heat, gradually whisk in your cornstarch to incorporate well to make sure you don't have any lumps
Mix continuously for about 4-5 minutes until the mixture thickens and turns a modicum clear. Eliminate from heat and whisk in your strawberry jello until totally dissolved, let cool to room temperature.
the moment that cooled add in your strawberries and throw them to coat equally then pour into prepared pie crust.
site in the refrigerator to set for around 2-3 hours. Dollop with whipped cream if wanted.
